Earn 2 Free Hilton Nights With New DIRECTV Account

Free Hilton Night

There is another DIRECTV promo and this one is for 2 free Hilton nights when you sign-up. Depending on how you use those nights, this could be great!

There are bonuses all the time for getting DIRECTV or similar accounts. Airlines run them in the 25,000 mile bonus area but this bonus would be great for those trying to get stays at high end hotels. With this DIRECTV promo, you will earn 2 free nights at Hilton hotels around the world!

Here are the details of this offer:

  • Must sign a 24 month contract
  • The applicable plans start at $51 plus taxes per month (so a total of $1,200 plus taxes for the full contract)
  • Earn 2 free Hilton weekend nights with your certificate
  • Weekend night certificates are earned after purchase requirements have been met with DirecTV.
  • Weekend night certificates are valid for two (2) weekend nights, standard accommodation, double occupancy, subject to availability on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, at properties in the Hilton HHonors portfolio .
  • The weekend night certificate applies only to room rate and corresponding taxes, and does not apply to any applicable gratuities, resort fees or incidental charges.
  • Weekend night certificate is valid for twelve (12) months after the date of issuance, as noted on the certificate.
  • New residential DirecTV customers only
  • Phone number to sign-up – 888-409-4344
  • Promo page

As you can see, the bonus for this offer is similar to what the Citi Hilton Reserve card offers. That also gives 2 free weekend nights and comes with an annual fee of $95 up front. Since the top tier Hilton properties can go for as high as 90,000 points per night, that means this has the potential of being worth up to 180,000 Hilton points when redeemed for a 2 night stay at high end Hilton properties. With points currently selling at a discount for .5 cent each, that is like a $900 bonus at the maximum end.

Worth It?

Is this deal worth it for someone to purse just for the points? No, but people are always looking for promos that may give them that added push to sign a contract (early termination fee is prorated with a max of $480). If that is you, this could be the best deal you can get for signing up with DirecTV. I know it has some great potential and I would consider this bonus worth more than 25,000 airline miles.

Would you be interested in signing up for this bonus? Do you have experience with this bonus offer and have anything to add?

  • We wanted DirecTV and took advantage of a similar offer last year. It took multiple phone calls to Hilton and DirecTV and about four months, but we finally got our two free nights certificate. I wish I could say this was a good promotion, but it was not a great experience for us.

    • Wow! Was it that they did not want to give the nights until the contract is fulfilled (which is now how the terms read) or was it just miscommunication between the two? Glad you got them in the end!

  • United has a semi-targeted offer for 30,000 miles and last time I checked, only required a $29 a month package. The thing I don’t like is that many of these offers only guarantee the price for 12 months but you have to keep it 24 months for the offer.

    • Good to know! Thanks for mentioning it as I had seen one in a while and did not remember that the package was so cheap.
