The Chicago Marathon is just a little over a month away! I know there are many of you that are planning on running the race and I wish you the best of luck! You are in the last weeks of high training and about to enter the taper period and soon cash in all of your hard work in training – congratulations! Do you have everything else taken care of? Airplane tickets bought (redeemed)? If not, do not fear. Check this post to see if you are able to fly to Chicago for only 9,000 points round-trip. How about your hotel? Do you have that secured? Hopefully! But maybe you have not been able to find one or maybe you are trying to find one that is better situated or cheaper. Here is a comprehensive round-up of the availability of award rooms at Chicago hotels as of September 3. Note: I checked for the Saturday/Sunday nights of the marathon weekend.
