The great 75,000 United mile offer is now available to even more United accounts! Find out how to check and see if you are targeted!

While there are reports of very targeted offers for 85,000 United miles (80,000 miles + 5,000 miles for authorized user) appearing in inboxes and mailboxes, the best online offer continues to be the 75,000 United mile offer (70,000 miles + 5,000 miles for authorized user).

It was very limited when it first was released at the end of May, then it trickled out to more people a week or so ago, and now it appears that they have made it even more widely available now! I checked more of the accounts that I have access to and it is available on all but 1!

As I said, this offer now appears to have expanded to many more accounts. Originally, the rumor had been that this card would meet this offer June 1, so it is not a big surprise that it has rolled out more widely. I have received it on several family member accounts so I know that it is reaching wider.

Getting the 75,000 United mile offer

To check and see if you have received this offer, simply go to this link and sign-in to your United account. If you are targeted, it will be there! If you are not targeted, consider messaging Chase and asking about it, especially if you have recently applied for the United MileagePlus Explorer card.

Here are the details about the card:

  • 70,000 bonus miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open
  • 5,000 bonus miles when you add the first authorized user* and make a purchase in the first 3 months your account is open
  • $50 statement credit after your first purchase
  • 10,000 bonus miles when you spend $25,000 in net purchases on your Card each year
  • Earn 2 miles per $1 spent on tickets purchased from United
  • Earn 1 mile per $1 spent on all other purchases
  • Free first checked bag
  • Priority boarding
  • No fees on foreign transactions
  • 2 United ClubSM passes each year for your travel
  • This product is available to you if you do not have this card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months.

Yes, the spending is higher than the regular offer but you are getting a lot of miles with it! After you complete your spending and add the authorized user, you will have at least 78,000 United miles! That is a huge number that will get you anywhere in the world.

If you are targeted for this 75,000 United miles offer, I would definitely go ahead and apply. Remember, you can only get this offer if it has been 24 months since you last received the bonus from this card and if you do not currently have this card.

  • I got the 50k offer and got the carrd 5 weeks prior to seeing 70k offer in my United account. I tried to get Chase to match the offer but they said no, twice to my nicely worded emails, even after I sent them screenshots….. Chase is getting stingier by the day.

  • As this is a Chase card, doesn’t the 5/24 rule apply on getting approval for this card — are does the 5/24 rule not apply to the co-branded cards?

  • If I were to cancel my Mileage Plus Explorer card and wait a little bit, do you think I’d get the targeted offer?

    • If you do not have the targeted offer, cancelling the card should not make you targeted. My wife and I both have the card and we had the targeted offer – kind of like tempting us to try for it just to get shot down! 🙂 The increased offer is supposed to run through 6/30 so you could wait a bit longer to see if you are targeted. If you are, it will have to be 24 months since you had the bonus offer and you need to cancel your card a day or so before you apply.
