It was 1 month after applying for the card through the technique I wrote about before – and today I received my 50,000 bonus miles! This is definitely one of my better airline-branded, no-fee credit card bonuses that I have received in a while (last year, there were some great 75,000 mile American Airlines cards, but I had not taken part in them). One month is a pretty decent turnaround time considering that I applied, received a under review message, got the card, made my purchase, paid it off, had my statement close, and received my miles. Pretty good! Considering it is only 60,000 miles to Europe or 65,000 to many parts of South Asia, this makes this card a tremendous value! If you are on the fence about this card, get it soon! (I do not receive any commission from this card).
