The IHG PointBreaks list is out and bookable for only 5,000 points per night. If you have travel upcoming, make sure you check it – plus there are 14 airport locations on here which can be great for long layovers!

The latest IHG PointBreaks list is out and bookable so if you have travel anywhere in the next few months, check this list to book a night for only 5,000 points! In fact, you may even make a trip out of seeing a particular location on this list! See the bottom for the card offer and how to see if you are targeted for the better offer.

As you look over this list, you will see that it is certainly not the best PointBreaks list that IHG has put out. In fact, it looks a little more like a summer list that they may put out. But, even though there are not many Intercontinental properties on this list (IHG’s top brand and this list only has 1), finding a hotel convenient for your destination for only 5,000 points can be a huge help – no matter how luxurious it may (or may not) be.

Locations Of Note

There are some hotel locations that jumped out at me that may be of interest. As always, check out the airport locations to see if an airport you will have a long layover at may be on the list. When I have a long layover, I like to jump into the city, but if you are traveling with family (especially overseas), being able to crash and get refreshed in a nearby hotel for only 5,000 points is a great value! On this list, there are 14 airport hotels, so give them a look (including Chicago’s O’Hare which can be a big help!).

Also on the list, though 15 miles away from Gillette Stadium (the home of the New England Patriots) is a Holiday Inn. If you are a Pats fan, even with the distance you could get a nice deal if you are heading there for a game. This list stretches into the end of January so if you would like to make a speculative booking based on New England getting to the playoffs and having home field advantage, it is only 5,000 points! 🙂

Getting The Points

The best offer is the 80,000 point + $50 statement credit offer on the IHG credit card. However, that is targeted. Many people have had great success applying for the 60,000 point offer and then messaging Chase through their account to ask about the extra 20,000 points (and getting them).

However, here is an easy way to just check and see if you are already targeted for the better offer! Check this post here.

Also, remember that you can transfer points from Chase’s Ultimate Rewards at a rate of 1:1, but that is far from the best use of Ultimate Reward points so only do it if you need the points now.
