Rosetta Stone is a language program that I am very familiar with. I have used this with several languages and while I am not fluent in them :), I have been able to learn quite a bit from the programs. There are multiple deals that come across the internet for Rosetta Stone throughout the year with one of the better ones being from Amazon at $149 with their base Kindle Fire tablet thrown in. But, this new Amex Offer could be even better than that for many with this Rosetta Stone deal.

To maximize it, add the offer to separate cards, simply login to your American Express account and then choose to duplicate the tab (if using Google Chrome) as many times as you have cards. Once they are all open, select a different Amex card in each tab and select to save the offer to the card.

The $149 Rosetta Stone Deal
Through 11:59PM EST tonight (2/16/2017), you can get any Rosetta Stone program of Level 1 – 5 for $149 and a Level 1 – 3 for $119. You can also enroll in an online subscription with the best value coming in at $149 for 24 months. This is great if you want to do this on your iPad or other tablet instead of your computer (though you can use it on the computer as well). We had tried the online subscription before and while it is nice, we preferred the download version since we can keep it and start it up again whenever we want at no additional fee.
Now, here is how you can maximize this deal. Save this Amex Offer to all your cards (following the instructions at the top of this post) and then choose to pay by installments. It does not cost anything extra to do that and if you select a language that has 5 levels, your total will be $149 plus tax. That would equal 3 monthly installments of $49.95 plus tax. The tax will put you over the $50 required by this Amex Offer.
Setup one Amex card with the saved offer for the first month and then just switch it each of the remaining months. That will make your total at the end to be $119 plus tax for the 5 level courses. Not a bad deal considering what you are getting and what the current sale price is!
However, if you don’t want to make a decision now, they may have another deal in a couple of months. But, you will get the most value if you take advantage of it during this sale now.

Takeaway
We are fortunate that English is widely spoken around the world but there is really nothing like being able to speak a few phrases with someone in their own country, in their own language. I have shared some amazing experiences with locals just because they appreciated that I had made the effort to communicate with them on a basic level. It can also prove to be helpful when bargaining in certain countries as well! 😉
