Here is a 70,000 point Marriott offer for their business card – without the high annual fee of $99 up front!

The “new” Marriott business card offer is out and it is very good for those customers who did not want to pay the $99 annual fee for the 80,000 point offer. The offer that has returned is for 70,000 points and it waives the annual fee the first year.

70,000 Marriott Business Card Offer

Marriott

In some ways, this card is better this time around than when it last offered the 70,000 point bonus. That is because of the addition of bonus categories. Now, the Marriott business card offers 2 points per dollar on the following:

  • Airline tickets purchased directly with the airline
  • Car rentals through agencies
  • Restaurants
  • Office Supply stores
  • Internet, cable, and phone purchases

While there are other cards that offer those categories as well (and even at better earn rates), this card is better than it has ever been because they have expanded the categories to give us more options.

Offer

The offer for this card is simple:

  • Receive 70,000 points after spending $3,000 in 3 months
  • Annual fee of $99 is waived the first year
  • Annual free night for Category 1 – 5 hotel
  • Application Link

80,000 Point Offer Still Available

Fortunately, by way of offering choice, the previous limited-time offer (that was supposed to expire August 31) is still available as well. This is for 80,000 points after spending $3,000 in 3 months as well. But, it does not waive the annual fee of $99. That means you will be paying $99 for an extra 10,000 points if you choose the 80,000 point offer. If you have an Ultimate Rewards earning card, there are much easier, cheaper ways to get those 10,000 points than spending $99. But, if you want it, you can still view it here.
